Is a technician included with the equipment rental?
Yes. Every package we quote includes our own crew. A sound, lighting or AV technician sets the system up, tunes it in the room and stays on site for the whole event, not just the setup. We do not do drop-off-only rentals.
Is labour, delivery and dismantle included in the price?
Yes — all three sit inside the package price. No separate crew invoice, no delivery surcharge, no dismantle fee.
What size PA system do I need for 300 guests?
Point-source or column array with subwoofers, digital console and 4–6 wireless mics. We size it after a site visit.
Which LED pixel pitch should I use for a ballroom backdrop?
Closer viewing needs finer pitch. Standard indoor ballroom: P2.6–P3.9. Outdoor or large-distance: P4.8+. We recommend based on throw distance and whether it will be filmed.
How far in advance should I book?
Three to four weeks is comfortable. Peak season (Nov–Jan, Raya, Deepavali) — book earlier.
What happens if equipment fails during the event?
We carry backup on site — spare console, wireless channels, standby speakers, spare LED modules and duplicate signal paths.
Do you cover outstation events?
Yes, nationwide — Penang, Johor, Melaka, Ipoh, Kuantan, KK and Kuching. Transport and crew travel shown as separate line items.
Can I rent individual items instead of a full package?
Yes — full package or individual items like a projector and screen, extra wireless mics, or uplighting only.
Do you handle the AV together with the rest of the event?
Yes — VC Events is a full event management company. Same team handles AV, stage, lighting, catering coordination and logistics under one roof.
